More RAM can sometimes speed up your computer, but if you already have ENOUGH then adding more will NOT speed up your computer BUT us cloning your old mechanical hard drive across to an SSD drive will make a HUGE improvement. We find that most computer will start up in less than 10 seconds after we have made such an upgrade, some even faster. This is a relatively cheap upgrade, but we cannot stress just how much of a difference it makes. It literally will make some computer up to 20 times faster and most up to about 10 times faster. Opening applications now being almost instantaneous with no more “hourglass waiting”.
